Costa Rica

Most of us living on Chicago’s North Shore had Spring Break last week. So if you were one of those lucky families, welcome back. I hope you went some place fun and exciting or at least escaped the cold.

We had our trip to Costa Rica and took two great families and had tons of fun. It was an active vacation with white water rafting, riding to waterfalls in jeeps and walking through Costa Rica’s jungles to explore monkeys, sloths, toucans and other wildlife. Traveling with other families is such fun because the kids can all play games together and swim and the adults also have a fun time. We met lots of locals and learned about the Costa Rican culture. One of the older kids on the trip even played soccer with the Costa Ricans.
Everyone on our trips seems to always have a great time.

I think it is the combination of learning about a new culture, doing interesting activities, putting a bunch of nice people together, and having everything organized so you don’t have to worry about all the planning. The result is a really wonderful experience.
